Alaska Licensed Systems Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Advisor System Operations Manager (ASOM) to oversee the operational health and service delivery of systems supporting Medicaid services.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end production health, including availability and performance, across complex healthcare systems
• Serve as the single technical authority, leading incident response and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Drive modernization initiatives and define the technical roadmap aligned with client priorities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree or PMP preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, operations, or infrastructure leadership
• 5+ years in senior technical or service delivery leadership roles
• Deep expertise in ITIL4, ITSM, systems operations, and architecture governance
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably in healthcare or Medicaid/Medicare Information Systems
