Job Summary
To provide emotional support and crisis management, the remote full-time Alberta Licensed Clinical Counsellor will engage with clients through telephonic and video counselling, ensuring a supportive and ethical approach while maintaining client confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Provide single session telephonic and video counselling, including crisis intervention and support
- Assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counselling and manage high-risk calls
- Maintain clinical documentation and deliver administrative support for service-related inquiries
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Mental Health (e.g., Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or related discipline)
- Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in direct client-facing counselling
- Proven experience with solution-focused counselling approaches and crisis intervention
- Strong risk assessment and safety planning skills
- Excellent IT and administrative competencies for managing client records
