Job Summary

Providing technical leadership and project management, the full-time Alberta Licensed Senior Design Manager will oversee the substation layouts design team, ensure project progress aligns with budgets and schedules, and maintain client relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the substation layouts design team
• Track project progress and ensure alignment of manpower resources with workload
• Oversee and review designs to meet technical requirements and perform quality checks

Required qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and registered as an active member with APEGA (P.Eng. designation required)
• Minimum 12 years of work experience in high voltage facility design
• Proven track record in managing design teams and projects
• Experience in the utility industry
• Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of clients
