Job Summary
To support critical oil and gas infrastructure projects, the full-time Alberta Licensed Welding Associate will collaborate with engineers and tradespeople, monitor welding parameters, and assist clients with welding processes while working onsite in Edmonton, AB.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret regulatory requirements and customer specifications related to welding and materials
- Monitor welding parameters and prepare procedure qualification records under supervision
- Conduct welder performance qualification testing and assist with the implementation of welding technologies
Required qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Welding Engineering, Welding Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology (three-year program)
- Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency issued by ABSA
- CSA W178.2 Level 2 Welding Inspector Certificate of Compliance
- Eligibility to register for T.T., C.E.T., or E.I.T. status
