Job Summary
To support the development of innovative biosignal-based algorithms for medical devices, the full-time Algorithm Engineer will manage the entire algorithm development lifecycle, enhance machine learning tools, and collaborate with stakeholders, working remotely or from office hubs in Paris, Boston, or New York City.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the algorithm development lifecycle, including specifications gathering, data curation, and documentation
- Select and implement appropriate methods for algorithm development, utilizing deep learning when applicable
- Enhance internal tools and best practices to ensure efficient algorithm implementation and user-friendly documentation
Required qualifications
- Over 4 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, preferably in health sciences
- Proficiency in digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics, with experience in PyTorch or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with modern deep learning advances and best practices in software and ML engineering
- Experience with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets is preferred
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to present complex technical topics effectively
