Job Summary

Managing complex commercial energy claims, the full-time Senior Technical Claims Specialist will handle third-party bodily injury and property damage claims, including litigation and high-dollar exposures, while working remotely with limited office visits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle handling of complex Commercial Energy claims, including coverage analysis and settlement negotiations
• Act as the claim owner with authority to authorize payments and adjust reserves
• Review and develop litigation plans, managing internal and external teams based on loss dynamics

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5-7+ years of complex Commercial Casualty claims experience, particularly in litigated General Liability/Auto and/or Energy claims
• Demonstrated expertise in managing Energy-specific litigation and multi-party losses
• Advanced proficiency in coverage analysis within a litigation context
• Strong experience in setting and managing high exposure indemnity and expense reserves
• All Lines Adjuster License required
