Allowables Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Allowables Representative to support the Allowables Manager in managing claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Run specific payer under and over allowed reports for submission to carrier
• Complete necessary appeals and follow up on them with the carrier
• Consult with the Allowables Manager regarding unusual circumstances and perform other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum three years of medical billing experience preferred
• Accounts Receivable or Patient Accounts experience essential
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures beneficial
• Computer literate with Excel and Word experience preferred
