Allowables Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Allowables Representative to support the Allowables Manager in managing claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Run payer under and over allowed reports for submission to carriers
• Complete necessary appeals and follow up on their status
• Consult with the Allowables Manager on unusual circumstances related to claims

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum three years of medical billing experience preferred
• Experience in Accounts Receivable or Patient Accounts is essential
• Knowledge of physician billing policies and procedures is beneficial
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and Word, is preferred
