Ambulance Billing and Coding Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ambulance Medical Billing and Coding Associate.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve issues related to unbilled claims, authorizations, and demographic capture
• Analyze and identify issues that may cause payment delays and reconcile accounts accurately
• Review and correct billing errors while providing excellent customer service to patients and facilities

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of medical billing experience
• Preferred experience in ambulance billing and extensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
• Proficient in CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Ambulance/Medical billing certification or diploma preferred
• Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred
