Job Summary
To ensure consistent patient experiences across centralized ambulatory teams, the full-time Ambulatory Access Services Trainer will develop and deliver high-quality training for new PASR employees, manage training logistics, and collaborate with various departments to enhance onboarding processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver instructor-led training sessions utilizing adult learning theories and adapting to various learner needs
- Coordinate training schedules, manage logistics, and oversee guest speakers for new hire onboarding
- Provide ongoing support and retraining for current staff as new workflows are introduced
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience in training, course design, and adult learning methodologies
- Strong presentation skills and experience in public speaking
- Experience with electronic health records, preferably Epic
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
