Job Summary

Serving as the Ambulatory Patient Accounting Application Owner, the remote contract position will lead the evaluation and implementation of patient accounting features, define product vision and strategy, and manage the application roadmap to enhance Revenue Cycle operations.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of ambulatory patient accounting features to enhance existing application functionalities
  • Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and growth strategy while identifying opportunities for innovation
  • Collaborate with vendors and represent the ambulatory patient accounting domain in governance forums
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience with implementing and supporting ambulatory patient accounting platforms/applications such as Athena or Ingenious Med
  • Proven technical leadership in ambulatory patient accounting solutions and the ability to analyze and present technical options
  • Experience supporting and implementing Epic PB or ambulatory HIM and Coding solutions is a plus
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts, processes, and practices related to ambulatory patient accounting
