Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ambulatory Patient Financial Services Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and submit clean claims for billing and collections based on CMS guidelines, payer contracts, and federal regulations
• Investigate payment delays or denials by contacting payers or researching payer websites
• Assist patients with resolving insurance and self-pay balance questions

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services, or insurance industry processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
