AML Operations Officer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the AML Operations Officer will identify and escalate potential adverse media matches for customers using a portfolio monitoring application while ensuring compliance with AML regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review cases based on queue assignment for potential matches, documenting rationale for dispositions
• Ensure compliance with AML regulations and participate in AML compliance training
• Stay informed about emerging threats and trends in financial crime

Required qualifications:

• Experience in banking, financial institutions, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Thorough understanding of AML regulations and adverse media credible sources
• Strong analytical thinking skills and experience managing large workloads
• Active listening and time management abilities
