AML Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Experienced AML Subject Matter Experts will find a full-time remote opportunity to leverage their extensive background in AML operations, driving customer success and product development by providing domain expertise on sales calls, FDE deployments, and customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the domain credibility on sales calls, addressing compliance queries from customers based on firsthand experience
• Define and evaluate AML agent behavior during FDE and deployments, ensuring alignment with real-world investigative standards
• Support existing customers in implementing AML capabilities and conducting technical deep dives to enhance product utilization

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience as an AML analyst and manager, with a strong understanding of various institutional contexts
• Hands-on experience with technology in AML operations, particularly AI-assisted case management
• Familiarity with regulatory environments in Canada (FINTRAC/PCMLTFA) and the UK/EU (FCA, JMLSG, AMLD)
• CAMS certification preferred, with a multi-institution background
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse financial institutions
