Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chemist V specializing in Food Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technical/scientific review and analysis of relevant information for food standard development or amendment
Review and issue temporary marketing permits for foods deviating from a food standard
Evaluate data to assess exemptions from labeling requirements for major food allergens

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Food Sciences, Dairy Science, Biology, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant analytical/computational experience
Experience in the food industry related to Food Technology and Allergens
Must possess a complete understanding of basic biological and physical sciences and food technology, immunology, and closely related subjects
