Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Analytics Engineer to build and maintain data models and documentation for a public data infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models and develop new state parsers for assessment files
• Write dbt tests, perform data QA, and maintain documentation for auditable outputs
• Use Python for data validation and publish updates to a Quarto-based portal

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with dbt models in a production environment
• Solid SQL skills for debugging complex transformations and identifying data quality issues
• Experience working with inconsistent and messy real-world data
• Comfort with Python for data analysis tasks
• Experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or a related field, with relevant education preferred
