Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Analytics Engineer to transform raw data into clean, trustworthy datasets for civic participation tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models to transform raw data into clean datasets
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to create durable data models from ambiguous questions
• Improve data quality through testing and documentation for self-service confidence

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a related role focused on data modeling
• Strong SQL skills and production experience with dbt
• Proficiency in Python for data work, including scripting and automation
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Familiarity with political or civic data sources is a plus
