Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Analytics & Data Intelligence function, the full-time Analytics Engineer will build and optimize data pipelines, maintain ingestion scripts, and develop automated intelligence features, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and optimize dbt pipelines to ensure efficiency as data volume increases
• Maintain and extend ingestion scripts in Go/Python to ensure timely data availability
• Build pipelines for internal intelligence features like automated customer segmentation and sentiment classification

Required qualifications

• Significant experience with dbt and complex dbt projects, practicing "Analytics as Code.
• Deep knowledge of Google BigQuery or similar cloud warehouses, including partitioning and cost optimization
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with an interest in Go for maintaining ingestion scripts
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including documentation and data lineage
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus
