Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the analytics platform in a full-time remote capacity, the Analytics Engineer will manage data models, govern metrics, and ensure data quality while collaborating with various teams to enhance reporting and decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve canonical data models, transforming raw data into reporting-ready tables
• Govern metrics and maintain the semantic layer to ensure consistent definitions and ease of use
• Build and maintain observability and monitoring across the analytics stack to ensure data quality and platform reliability

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and a modern cloud data warehouse
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt and building canonical data models
• Experience with a semantic layer or governed BI environment (e.g., Lightdash, LookML)
• Proven ability to proactively improve data models and reporting systems
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
