Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced analytics engineers will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing the transformation layer of an ELT pipeline, ensuring high-quality, analysis-ready datasets from clinical data for AI development and healthcare solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Query complex health data sources to create high-quality datasets for AI algorithms and patient journey analyses
• Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt and Snowflake, ensuring data quality and transparency
• Harmonize multimodal data from various health systems into a unified layer for use by data scientists and AI developers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science)
• 3+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering roles with a focus on clinical and electronic health record data
• Strong proficiency in dbt and SQL, including writing reusable Jinja macros and implementing custom tests
• 1+ years of experience with data extraction and analysis within the healthcare delivery ecosystem (e.g., EMR, claims)
• Comfort working in a cloud environment, ideally Snowflake and/or AWS
