Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time remote Analytics Engineer will transform complex data into self-service analytics, build data pipelines, and create dashboards to support business insights and improve student learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with teams to translate product and business processes into technical data requirements, utilizing dbt, BigQuery, and SQL
• Build, optimize, and orchestrate data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and Python
• Create insightful dashboards and establish data integrity standards to ensure accurate and timely data delivery

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in an analytics-focused role such as analytics engineer, data engineer, or analyst/consultant
• Expertise in SQL and experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Experience using dbt in modern data warehouses like BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake
• Familiarity with software development best practices applied to data, including CI/CD and version control
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Lightdash, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI
