Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growing life sciences delivery operations, the full-time remote Analytics Engineer will manage and operate an automated real-world data delivery pipeline using dbt and AWS, while serving as the primary technical point of contact for channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Author and maintain dbt models and PySpark transformation jobs, replacing ad-hoc scripts with governed code
• Coordinate and execute monthly RWD deliveries, ensuring quality metrics are defined and monitored
• Own the channel partner data inquiry queue, conducting investigations and communicating findings effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with production pipelines, dbt, Spark/PySpark, and cloud data infrastructure
• Proficiency in SQL with experience in Snowflake or a comparable columnar warehouse
• Practical experience with AWS S3 for file staging and delivery paths in a data engineering context
• Working knowledge of HIPAA de-identification requirements and their application in data pipelines
