Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the analytics foundation, the full-time remote Analytics Engineer will design and build production dbt models on Databricks, ensuring accurate and governed data for external reporting while driving AI-native workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build production dbt models on Databricks as the source of truth for business analytics
• Support external reporting with accurate, governed data for stakeholders and partners
• Own data quality through testing, CI/CD, and documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create durable data products

Required qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or equivalent, with experience owning production models end-to-end
• Expertise in SQL and deep experience with dbt, including architecture, incremental models, and CI/CD
• Strong delivery experience with Databricks BI or equivalent semantic layers
• Practical experience using AI coding tools and designing data for both human and AI consumption
• Proven ability to execute in ambiguous environments typical of startup settings
