Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Analytics Engineer will design and maintain automated ETL/ELT data pipelines, develop analytics-ready data models, and create interactive dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for federal civilian agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud tools
• Develop and manage analytics-ready data models and workflows to support reporting and advanced analytics
• Implement CI/CD practices using GitLab for reliable data engineering processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a Master's) in analytics engineering or data analysis
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Git/GitLab, and experience with ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and creating dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
• Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders
• Experience working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, agile environments
