Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

As a key member of the Analytics Engineering function, the full-time remote Sr. Analytics Engineer will design and maintain dbt models, establish metric definitions, and deliver certified data products to support financial reporting and business intelligence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the transformation layer by designing, building, and maintaining dbt models while applying software engineering best practices
• Establish and enforce standards for the semantic layer, defining certified metrics and eliminating conflicting definitions across reports
• Deliver certified data products with clear schema, lineage, and auditability, ensuring alignment with Finance and other stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence
• Advanced SQL skills with proven experience in building production-grade analytical data models
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt, including modeling, testing, and CI/CD
• Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse, preferably Snowflake
• Proven ability to apply software engineering principles to analytical work, including version control and documentation
