Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
An analytics company is looking for an Analytics Engineer in Brisbane, CA or remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with data analysts, data scientists, and all data stakeholders to understand their needs, engineer solutions and promote best practices
- Build, manage, scale, and optimize data pipelines, automated jobs, and integrations
- Extend and optimize the current data pipeline to assemble complex data sets, improve data platform reliability, resiliency, and scalability
Required Qualifications:
- Product-focused mindset with strong overall programming skills and ability to write modular, maintainable code
- Deep understanding of SQL and strong communication skills
- Experience with dbt, Looker, and familiarity with Redshift, Snowflake, and data acquisition tools
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect and experience with machine learning systems are a plus
