Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time salaried Analytics Engineer II will own and operationalize analytics artifacts across various domains, build and maintain metrics stores, and enhance data models while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver analytics products that support business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and model analytically ready datasets, implementing semantic layers and metrics stores while ensuring data quality and governance
- Design and implement components for semantic layers to support domain KPIs and optimize performance for BI tools
- Lead automated testing and CI/CD processes for analytics products, maintaining metadata and lineage in the catalog
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in analytics/data roles with a proven track record of delivering analytics artifacts
- Proficiency in Advanced SQL, dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks, and familiarity with metrics store concepts
- Experience implementing CI/CD for analytics, including automated testing and environment promotion
- Proficiency with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and BI tool optimizations (e.g., Power BI)
- A four-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field
