Analytics Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Analytics Engineering Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the core dbt model, assessing architecture and improving maintainability and performance
• Define the technical strategy for the Analytics Engineering function, establishing standards and documentation frameworks
• Serve as the primary bridge between BI and Data Engineering, leading large-scale refactors and improving data governance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience owning dbt in production
• 7+ years of experience with analytical data models and large-scale datasets in cloud data warehouses
• Expert in SQL and designing data models that support self-service analytics
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and data quality frameworks
• Ability to simplify complex data environments and make scalable architecture decisions
