Analytics Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Analytics Engineering Manager to lead the analytics engineering discipline and enhance business understanding through data.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the Looker platform, managing permissions, performance, and content lifecycle
• Align with teams on shared metrics and guide them through semantic tradeoffs
• Oversee the development and reliability of core dashboards and reports

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in analytics engineering, BI engineering, or data modeling roles
• Expert-level SQL and dimensional modeling abilities
• Proven ability to design simple, durable semantic layers over complex data
• Hands-on experience with modern lakehouse or warehouse platforms or BI tools
• Demonstrated leadership through mentoring or technical direction-setting
