Anatomy & Physiology Adjunct

Job Summary

To support student learning in the field of biology, the part-time Anatomy & Physiology Adjunct will plan, organize, and deliver instruction in various formats, including in-person, remote, and online, while providing timely feedback and engaging with students outside of class.

Key responsibilities

• Create a learning environment that facilitates the acquisition of knowledge and skills in Anatomy & Physiology
• Align course activities with student learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies to enhance student engagement
• Deliver instruction and conduct assessments in accordance with college policies, providing meaningful feedback to students

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology (preferred emphasis in Anatomy & Physiology) for lab instructors
• Master's Degree in Biology or a graduate degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Biology for lecture instructors
• Teaching experience at the college level
• Knowledge of CANVAS or other learning management systems
• Proven teaching strategies that promote student success
