Job Summary

A company is looking for an Android Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

Own development of features for the Trailforks Android app with guidance from the engineering manager and tech lead
Create solutions using established patterns in the existing code base and contribute to app maintenance and bug resolution
Contribute to the shared KMM library used across iOS and Android apps

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin
Knowledge of Android design principles and familiarity with tools like Jetpack Compose and Coroutines
Experience in building maintainable features, including API design and testing techniques
Familiarity with multithreaded programming and mobile memory management
A passion for the outdoors and familiarity with the Trailforks product and community
