Android OS Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Android OS Developer to support the modernization of secure, mission-critical embedded systems for U.S. defense and national security programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customized Android Open Source Project (AOSP)-based operating systems in a secure environment
• Support system level Android development, including OS services and custom applications
• Implement secure storage and perform system debugging and performance tuning

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development for embedded Linux and/or Android operating systems
• Hands-on experience with Android OS/AOSP development, C++, Java, and object-oriented design
• Experience in low-level, system-focused environments involving OS services and kernel interaction
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
