Android Validations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Validations Engineer, Android.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and OS certification from OEM partners for restaurant-grade deployments
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot firmware, kernel, or driver issues affecting app behavior
• Design and execute tests that simulate full restaurant workflows from order placement to reporting

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Android system architecture and experience with x86 and ARM devices
• Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM), OTA updates, and deployment automation
• 5+ years of experience validating or engineering Android OS-based platforms, preferably in POS or kiosk systems
• Experience in QA/validation engineering with a methodical mindset
• Bonus: Experience in the restaurant tech industry or with enterprise-grade hardware rollouts
