Anesthesia Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Team Lead - Anesthesia Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and mentor a team of Certified Professional Coders specializing in Anesthesia
• Code anesthesia charge tickets and review related documentation for accuracy
• Assist the manager in resolving personnel issues and coordinating training for new employees

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate; Associate degree in business administration or related area preferred
• CCSP or CPC professional certification is required
• 3+ years of coding experience in a business office, hospital, or physician practice setting
• 1+ year of anesthesia coding experience required
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, ASA, and HCPCS coding
