Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Biller with Anesthesia experience for a full-time night shift position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Post medical charges, payments, and journal entries to patient accounts accurately and in a timely manner
• Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to process and receive payment for claims
• Verify insurance filing information, address coding problems, and submit claims using billing software

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in medical billing, specifically with anesthesia
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid
• Ability to handle protected health information in compliance with HIPAA
• Experience with denial management and appeal processes for denied claims
• Proficiency in eligibility and benefit verification
