Anesthesia PayCare Specialist

Job Summary

To support the No Surprises Act initiative, the full-time remote Anesthesia PayCare Specialist will proactively communicate with patients regarding anesthesia service charges prior to their procedures, ensuring they understand their financial responsibilities and have the opportunity to make advance payments.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to inform patients about anesthesia-related charges and handle inbound inquiries regarding financial responsibilities
• Process secure credit card payments over the phone while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Document all patient interactions and payment transactions accurately within designated systems

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
• Experience with credit card payment processing preferred
• Prior experience in customer service, healthcare, or call center environments preferred
• Ability to multitask and navigate systems while engaging with patients
