Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and maintain RESTful APIs for EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services
• Write clean, testable code and actively participate in code reviews and testing for back-end services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs and contribute to front-end components
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with related tools such as API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
