Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to retrieve and serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that serve structured EDI or healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integration of APIs into front-end components
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
