Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to serve and transform healthcare EDI records
• Support the Angular-based dashboard front-end by integrating APIs and ensuring accurate data presentation
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying best software engineering practices in an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, including API Gateway and Lambda
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
