Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and integrate with internal platform APIs

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
