Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for transforming and serving healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy and performance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure services related to API deployment and management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
