Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, integrating with APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and support Angular-based front-end development

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and experience with API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
