Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate cloud-based applications that process healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and back-end integration for healthcare applications
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs that consume structured data (XML, JSON)
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
