Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and design RESTful APIs for healthcare data processing
• Integrate with internal APIs and EDI processing pipelines to ensure reliable data delivery
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying best software engineering practices within an Agile framework

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies like Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
