Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Proven ability to build and consume RESTful APIs that handle structured data (XML, JSON)
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
