Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, while integrating APIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs and contribute to front-end components
• Working knowledge of AWS services related to cloud application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
