Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

Build and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and RESTful APIs for healthcare data processing
Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery
Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying Agile best practices

Required qualifications

8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
Proven experience building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
