Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, ensuring reliable data delivery and performance
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform healthcare EDI records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API contracts and contribute to the Angular-based front-end components

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integration of APIs into front-end applications
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
