Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Angular/NodeJS Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to retrieve and serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy in the application

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs and contribute to front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
