Angular/NodeJS Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Angular/NodeJS Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Integrate with internal platform APIs and EDI processing pipelines to deliver reliable transaction data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clean API contracts and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Hands-on Angular experience with the ability to integrate APIs and contribute to front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
